	When designing our new line of finished high-end audio cables, we did not forget about the existing customers of DACT (Danish Audio ConnecT): The worldwide audio DIY community. As a matter of fact we have made available a large number of cable/wire products that are especially intended for DIY purposes.


	The way we distinguish between finished products and DIY versions is that we describe the finished products as “cables” while the DIY products are “wires”. The only differences between Cables and Wires are that Cables come with connectors mounted and in complete retail packaging while Wires have no connectors and come in bulk-type of packaging.

DIY SPEAKER WIRES
Dual Connect is offering two products for speaker DIYs: DC-DIYspk200 and DC-DIYspk400. The only difference between the two is the length. DC-DIYspk200 has a length of 2.0m (6.5 ft.) while DC-DIYspk400 is 4.0m (13.1 ft.).
These two speaker DIY wires are built exactly the same way and using exactly the same materials as the two finished Dual Connect speaker cables DC-S200 and DC-S400. Only, the DIY wires do not have any connectors mounted, but have both ends stripped.

Upgrade your speakers by replacing internal wires by Dual Connect DIY speaker wires

Upgrade your amplifier by replacing any internal speaker wires by Dual Connect DIY speaker wires

Build a high-end car sound system by using Dual Connect DIY speaker wires for all speaker connections (do not use Dual Connect speaker wires in car door hinges or in other places where high flexibility is required)
